Just tell us when you’d like to move in and one of our team members will lock in your exact unit, price, and promotion. We generally set a 30-day limit on how long a unit can be reserved. Special circumstances, including limited availability or certain promotions, may affect the typical reservation timeframe.

Do I need insurance for the contents of my unit?

Yes. We care about your stuff so much that we require all tenants to have a policy in place to protect the contents of their storage unit. For your convenience, we offer insurance options that start at just $12 per month for coverage of $2,000 with a $0 deductible. If you have homeowners or renters’ insurance, your policy may cover the items in your unit. If you plan on using your own insurance, we’ll ask you to upload a copy of your declaration page for our records. We want to make your self storage experience easy and convenient. All tenants can access their unit with our secure keypad entry using a unique personal code. Individual units are also protected by a lock that is only accessible by the tenant. Access hours are 5am-10pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

To store a vehicle at a BESTBOX facility, we ask for proof of registration and insurance, and that all registration documentation is in the name of the individual renting the unit. Once those are confirmed, you can store your vehicle as long as you’d like within a storage unit or our gated parking lot. We ask that all vehicles stored in our outdoor storage be in running condition and operable, and that they do not leak any fluids or create a hazard to our team and other tenants.

Our indoor storage units are securely indoors and can only be accessed from within a larger building at our facility. The indoor units are usually climate controlled, which allows you to store your temperature and humidity-sensitive items safely. Our drive-up units can be conveniently accessed outside, allowing you to pull right up and unload your stuff without a moving cart or dolly in sight (unless you’re storing a grand piano…then you’re going to want a moving cart). Finally, our upstairs units will be on an upper floor of the building with elevator access, so no need to carry items up a flight of stairs. Upstairs units generally have a lower price point and are a great choice for those not planning on accessing their storage unit frequently.
